From January 1, 2025, the amount of the eco-participation (WEEE), included in the price of our electrical and electronic appliances, will be revised. This change is the result of an obligation imposed by the French government to strengthen the financing of the collection, recycling and recovery of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

What is eco-participation?

Eco-participation is a compulsory contribution added to the selling price of our products. It is imposed by the State and enables us to :

• Finance recycling: Collect, process and recover end-of-life appliances.
• Reduce environmental impact: Preserve natural resources and limit pollution.

Total price = Product price + Eco-participation.

This amount is clearly indicated on your invoice and is paid in full to an approved eco-organization responsible for managing these operations.

How do you recycle your old appliance with FrigeluX?

When your new appliance is delivered, FrigeluX offers to take back your old appliance free of charge*. To take advantage of this service, simply fill in the "Comments" box when you place your order on our website, specifying your wish to take back your old appliance. Recovered appliances are entrusted to an eco-organization for recycling or recovery, thus reducing their impact on the environment.
